Wendy Hiller Gee, MA, CMI, FAMI

Wendy has over 25 years experience in medical illustration and biomedical communications. She currently manages a team of medical illustrators and designers producing audience-appropriate, content-rich visuals at Krames StayWell, a healthcare communications company. She has produced and art directed medical illustration, medical animation, photography, page and product design, and information design. Wendy holds a B.A. in Fine Art from San Jose State University and an M.A. in Medical Illustration from the University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School. She has been a Certified Medical Illustrator for over 15 years. Her medical illustration career began with seven years in an independent medical graphics studio, which primarily supported the University of California, San Francisco medical center. She then ran a freelance business in medical illustration and graphics for interactive learning products, before joining Krames StayWell in 1998. Wendy is a Fellow of the Association of Medical Illustrators, and was the 2008-2009 Chair of the Board of Governors of the Association of Medical Illustrators. She was the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Service Award from the Association of Medical Illustrators.
