“Go to Bat for the Trust” Vesalius Trust 2017 Silent Auction
Monday July 24, 7 pm
You are invited to the Vesalius Trust build your own taco dinner and live auction. A fun evening is planned where we will go a little batty for VT scholarship and research. Did you know that Austin’s Congress Avenue Bridge is home to 1.5 million bats? Get into the bat theme with bat accessories like ears, hats, masks, jewelry, t-shirts – whatever inspires you. The crowd will vote on the most creative expression and reward the winners.
The ticket price is 50% dinner and 50% donation and you will not be pressured to give any more. Fine art from some of our most talented members will be featured at the live auction. The event will be held at Gabriel’s Pub inside the hotel. Space is very limited so you are encouraged to buy your ticket soon.
Registration for this event is NOT included in AMI annual meeting registration.
Please purchase tickets using the button options below. The Trust thanks you in advance for your support!

The Alan Cole Memorial Auction is the Trust’s biggest fund-raising event of the year and is held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Association of Medical Illustrators. The Auction is named in affectionate honor of Alan Cole, medical illustrator, teacher, friend and former auctioneer.
Participation in the Silent and Live Auctions is open to all: illustrator, spouse, client and student alike. There is something for everyone: from rare first-edition medical books to original art, from Craig Gosling’s plaster gorilla paws to Russell Drake’s pencil box, and from award winning contemporary medical books to limited edition prints by AMI members. Whether you come as a rabid-weasel bidder or a wide-eyed wallet-sitter, the Auction is a boisterous, irreverently good time benefiting a good cause.
